Unit 27: Factual Programming for Television

Pre-production for documentary (zak) Locations: The main locations that I would be filming in would be: Central park: This is the location I will be filming in because a football team of my contact trains there. The park would be used for a few cutaway shots of the footballers training. The location is close to the contacts who I will be filming for my interview.  Wanstead flats playing fields: This location I decided to choose is very important because I can film many football teams. It is also where my interviewee coaches his local team for their league game. I also have permission to film from matches if given permission by both teams. Leyton sixth forum college: Two of my contacts is currently planning on studying/learning in Leyton Sixth Form College. I myself go to this college and know where to film and know the area well enough to make the appropriate decision if to film there. ...

One of the common criticism was that the voice over was not very good and the speed was to slow and was not a welcoming voice They also talked about how the music and how it made the mood more sad. They complained saying it made the video looked as if it was a charity advert because of the background music. Another problem with my video was that a lot was not shown and more could of been explained. When listing to the feedback at lot of what people were repeating was that the video informed people and it showed what the ISOC was and what i was like. I was praised for having archive pictures used for explaining some of the things the group does. A lot of things that i was told that i should improve was having more scenes and having a better voice over.
