For this video I made many edits to show how to make the dish. 0.00-0.04   From the shot being not in focus slowly turning into focus was my first clip. The voice over starts and continues. 0.05-0.06   After a simple cut i showed a different angle to the rice which was in the next clip. 0.07-0.32   In the next clip i placed a blur effect so when the ingredients are shown on screen they would stand out. 0.32-0.35   Here i used a clip of oil with the same blur. 0.36-1.04 In the background i used footage of the spices. i used the same blur. I then used the sequence tool to put up the spices ingredients. 1.05-1.10 I used a wipe as a transition to the next cut. I asked my client for permission if i could go ahead with my video production.

When preparing to edit i decided that i would open premiere pro and get ready the software before importing the footage. When checking for faults i decided to check the footage to see if there was any unintentional blurs or other problems which may of occurred This the rush log where all my clips are. Once i located my SD card I opened it and imported all the files i needed into the software for editing. The files were then imported into the software so I could use them. The timeline is the middle display where the clips are put into sequence. It is used to show the order of clips and how long the video would be and the timing of it. I created a bin to store all my video clips, title sequences and audio voice overs on the bottom left corner on the programme. Editing has 3 main categories which define it. Development : In camera editing is a technique where a director would film his shots in sequence or edit the shots instead of shooting the shots separately and editing them into sequence. In developing the narrative of a video the director would have follow the action in the scenes taking place. The director would cross cut from one person to another to show what is happening. When action is taking place the director would show different viewpoints sometimes from the characters in the video.
